Albaroque

A public infrastructure project for the Town of Meis in northern Spain. The project consists of renovating historic buildings and its surrounding farmland and gardens for the use of the local community. The proposal is divided into three phases, with the results of the activities housed in the completed buildings, leading to the next phase of construction. The learning centres for traditional craft housed in the renovated buildings will teach participants to build with steel and timber, and make ceramics - allowing for a large canopy to wrap around the site, connecting the new activities in the area: a café, museum, an outdoor event stage, and a community garden.
