Mirukashi Salon

Designed as a versatile space for a writer and photographer to host friends and share a passion for foraging and gastronomy. The one-room space where each activity space gently tilts toward a different view, creating small corners of intimacy without walls. Set like a pavilion on a raised field—forest behind, ocean ahead—the building respects its surroundings with a cave-like form: just floor, roof, and floor-to-human-height openings. These openings frame the landscape at body level, blurring inside and outside and letting the space feel carved from the site itself.
